Georgian PM, World Ethnosport Confederation President discuss ‘friendly relations, strategic partnership’

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Bilal Erdoğan, President of the World Ethnosport Confederation, on Saturday discussed the friendly relations and strategic partnership between Georgia and Turkey, as well as cooperation in the field of sports.

The Government Administration said the sides also reviewed the ongoing World Wrestling Championship taking place in Tbilisi. Erdoğan thanked Kobakhidze for hosting the tournament and ensuring a high level of organisation.

Georgia is hosting the Championship for the first time in history, with matches scheduled for 25 October. The winners will be determined across absolute weight categories.
