Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze held a face-to-face meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the Georgian Government Administration reported.

According to the official information, the one-on-one talks focused on the strategic partnership between Georgia and Armenia and issues included on the agenda of the 15th session of the Georgia-Armenia Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.

In a post on social platform X, Kobakhidze said the discussions addressed the development of economic cooperation between the two countries across various sectors. He also stressed the importance of peace and stability in the region.

The parties additionally discussed the situation in the Middle East and underlined the importance of diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation and establishing lasting peace.

Kobakhidze reaffirmed Georgia’s readiness to contribute to strengthening regional peace and stability, the statement said.
