Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze took to social media platform X during the 6th European Political Community Summit in Albania to underline the urgent need for a strong and united Europe amid today’s global challenges.

“In a time of war, insecurity, and identity crises, the world needs a strong Europe,” Kobakhidze wrote, following his participation in a high-level roundtable on “Securing Europe and Strengthening Democratic Resilience.”

He emphasized Georgia’s unwavering role as a strategic ally of Europe and reaffirmed the country's commitment to a rules-based international order. Kobakhidze also used the post to point out that while Georgia has long stood by European values, it has often faced unfair treatment.

“Georgia remains committed to being a strategic ally and standing at the forefront of a rules-based international order,” he stated, calling on Europe to recognize Georgia’s continued contributions and potential.
