Georgian Prime Minister visits Kazakhstan for “high-level talks”

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has departed for an official visit to Kazakhstan, where he is set to hold high-level meetings with the country’s leadership, the Government press office said on Wednesday.

Kobakhidze will meet with Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov on Wednesday and Thursday in both face-to-face and expanded formats. He will also be hosted by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the Presidential Palace.

The Georgian Prime Minister is accompanied by a delegation that includes First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili, Regional Development and Infrastructure Minister Irakli Karseladze, Environment Protection and Agriculture Minister Davit Songulashvili, Education, Science and Youth Minister Aleksandre Tsuladze, Sports Minister Shalva Gogoladze, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
