Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze criticized the opposition for its inability to mobilize public support, both in elections and on the streets. Speaking on the television program of Imedi TV, Kobakhidze emphasized the lack of popular backing for opposition parties.

“Due to the opposition’s lack of public support, they failed to mobilize society on the streets,” Kobakhidze stated. “The same resource is needed for victory in elections and success in street demonstrations — public support. Given that the majority of society supports the Georgian Dream, it is no surprise that the opposition was just as unsuccessful on the streets as it was in the elections,” he added.
