Georgian PM meets FIFA President to discuss mutual cooperation

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, together with Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze and Georgian Football Federation President Levan Kobiashvili, met with FIFA President Gianni Infantino to discuss advancing football in Georgia. The information was released by the Government Administration.

The talks focused on future projects, including the construction of a 70,000-seat international-standard stadium and Georgia’s bid to host the U-20 World Cup.

During his visit, Infantino toured FIFA-funded facilities in Georgia. As a gesture of goodwill, the FIFA President presented Kobakhidze with a symbolic FIFA jersey.
