Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze emphasized the importance of increasing travel and mobility between Georgia and Azerbaijan, stating that greater interaction will further deepen the longstanding friendship between the two nations.

Speaking to Georgian journalists in Dubai, Kobakhidze welcomed the launch of the Baku-Tbilisi-Baku passenger train, highlighting its role in enhancing connectivity and strengthening ties between the two countries.

During his recent visit to Azerbaijan, Kobakhidze discussed the initiative with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, whom he thanked for his support and commitment to bilateral relations.

“It is crucial to have high mobility between our two friendly nations, as it benefits both Georgia and Azerbaijan. The more people travel between our countries, the stronger the cultural and social bonds will become,” Kobakhidze stated.
