Georgian PM, Kazakh Parliament Speaker hail rapid growth in trade and economic relations

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has met with Yerlan Koshanov, Chairman of the Mäjilis - the lower house of Kazakhstan’s Parliament - for talks on expanding cooperation between Georgia and Kazakhstan, the Georgian Government Administration said on Thursday.
The sides noted the friendly relations and growing partnership between the two countries. They highlighted the productive collaboration between their legislatures and discussed plans to further strengthen inter-parliamentary ties.
According to the government statement, Kobakhidze and Koshanov praised the rapid increase in bilateral trade and economic engagement, stressing the importance of deepening cooperation in transport and logistics - particularly through the Middle Corridor, a key Eurasian route linking Europe and Asia.

Koshanov is on his first official visit to Georgia in his current role, holding a series of high-level meetings aimed at strengthening bilateral partnership.
