Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has met Kazakh Interior Minister Yerzhan Sadenov in Tbilisi to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation in security and law enforcement.

According to the Georgian government administration, the meeting focused on ties between Georgia and Kazakhstan, including cooperation in policing and security issues in both bilateral and regional contexts.

The sides also discussed prospects for deepening political and economic relations, with particular emphasis placed on the importance of high-level visits.

Officials noted that a planned visit to Georgia by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is expected to further strengthen partnership between the two countries.

Georgian Interior Minister Sulkhan Tamazashvili also attended the meeting.
