Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has criticised the opposition, saying that no matter how they unite, their impact will remain minimal.

Speaking to the press on Monday, Kobakhidze described the opposition as discredited and said their own actions had contributed to their current position.

“They have brought themselves to this state, through sabotage, refusing to enter parliament, and numerous other mistakes encouraged by their foreign patrons. As a result, their image and reputation in our country are effectively zero. This is actually positive, because radical forces should not have space in a healthy democratic system,” he said.
