Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Saturday said the country stands out as one of the safest countries in the world, including in terms of safety for women.

The Prime Minister made the remarks while responding to journalists’ questions about a study conducted by the GORBI.

“This research is interesting and in general you can look at all indices and rankings — Georgia stands out as one of the safest countries. Of course, our country is also distinguished in terms of safety for women. Georgia is one of the safest countries worldwide, as all rankings show, and this research is also a reflection of that,” Kobakhidze said.
