Georgia’s Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, has held a meeting in Tbilisi with the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic, Maksat Mamytkanov, to discuss bilateral relations and future cooperation, the Government Administration said on Tuesday. 

Talks focused on the current political and economic ties between the two countries, as well as prospects for deepening collaboration. Officials reviewed recent trends in trade, highlighting the positive growth in bilateral commerce in recent years. Both sides underlined the importance of fully utilising the existing potential to further strengthen economic cooperation.

The meeting also addressed Kyrgyzstan’s involvement in regional projects and Georgia’s role as a transit hub in the wider region.
