Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has said he underlined the country’s strategic importance as a “reliable bridge” between Europe and Asia during his address at the 8th summit of the European Political Community.
In a post on social media platform X, Kobakhidze said he took part in a roundtable discussion on “Connectivity and Economic Security in the Green Transition”, held during the summit in Armenia.
He noted that his remarks focused on the importance of connectivity for long-term stability and economic security, alongside Georgia’s role in facilitating links between the two continents.
“I emphasised Georgia’s strategic role as a reliable bridge between Europe and Asia and highlighted the importance of connectivity for economic security and long-term stability,” he wrote.
