Kobakhidze said that Georgia will hold negotiations with the Azerbaijani side regarding the agreement

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced that the agreement on the Southern Gas Corridor will remain in force until the end of next year.

Speaking to journalists, Kobakhidze said that Georgia will hold negotiations with the Azerbaijani side regarding the agreement.

“This agreement is valid until the end of next year. Naturally, we will have discussions with the Azerbaijani side, and I am confident that, based on our friendship, these negotiations will proceed in a very constructive and friendly manner. We should wait for the outcomes of the negotiations. It would be inappropriate for us to speak about the results in advance. We will hold consultations in a friendly format and hope that an appropriate deal will be reached between the two countries,” Kobakhidze said.
