Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has departed for Singapore on a working visit, where he is scheduled to hold talks with the country's top political leaders and meet representatives of financial technology companies to promote Georgia's investment opportunities, his office said on Tuesday.
Kobakhidze will meet Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and Speaker of Parliament Seah Kian Peng during the visit.
The prime minister is also due to hold meetings with financial technology companies, with discussions expected to focus on Georgia's investment potential.
Kobakhidze is accompanied by a government delegation that includes Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili, Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
