Georgian PM congratulates Shigeru Ishiba on appointment as Japan’s Prime Minister

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has congratulated Shigeru Ishiba on his appointment as the new Prime Minister of Japan, wishing him success in his new role.

“I wish Japan’s newly appointed Prime Minister, Shigeru Ishiba, success in this important position. Georgia greatly values the excellent partnership it shares with Japan and is grateful for Japan’s support across various sectors. I am confident that through joint efforts, we can further strengthen the cooperation between Georgia and Japan,” said Kobakhidze in his statement.
