Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has met Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Environment Minister Tomáš Taraba on the sidelines of the World Urban Forum in Baku.

The meeting focused on the positive dynamics in bilateral relations between Georgia and Slovakia, as well as prospects for deepening cooperation across various sectors, the government press office said on Monday. 

Kobakhidze stressed the importance of protecting national interests and maintaining relations based on mutual respect, the statement said.

The Georgian prime minister also thanked the Slovak side for its support.
