Georgian Dream party chair and Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has met with members of the civic association Batumeli Hall during his visit to the Adjara region, the government’s press office has announced. He was joined by Sulkhan Tamazashvili, head of the party’s Adjara branch.

The meeting focused on preparations for the upcoming local self-government elections and the current pre-election climate in the region. Participants discussed the importance of hearing and sharing the ideas and initiatives of Batumi residents to support the city’s development.

Government representatives said that decisions taken by the authorities would continue to be shaped by the needs and interests of citizens.

Batumeli Hall is led by Valerian Mokeria - a distinguished Batumi-born diplomat, artist and public figure. The association brings together prominent figures from the city.
