The Georgian Government Administration said the meeting focused on opportunities to deepen partnership in both bilateral and multilateral formats, as well as enhancing interparliamentary cooperation.
The sides noted that relations based on mutual respect and friendship provide a solid foundation for further expanding cooperation across various sectors.
Idizoda expressed hope that the high-level visit and the agreements signed during it would help elevate bilateral relations and cooperation between the legislative bodies of Georgia and Tajikistan to a new stage.
Following the meeting, Kobakhidze and members of the Georgian delegation toured the Oliy Majlis building and signed the parliament’s book of honourary guests.
