Georgian PM meets Turkish Trade Minister in Tbilisi, highlights strategic partnership

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Turkish Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat in Tbilisi on the sidelines of the Georgia-Turkey Business Forum, underscoring the importance of the two countries’ strategic partnership.
According to the Georgian Government Administration, the meeting highlighted the positive momentum in bilateral relations across various sectors, including political and economic cooperation.
Discussions focused on joint regional projects of strategic importance, as well as the upward trend in trade turnover between Georgia and Turkey. Both sides emphasized the need to strengthen peace and security in the region.
Prime Minister reaffirmed Georgia’s readiness to support peace and stability in the South Caucasus through dialogue and cooperation. He also extended an official invitation to the Turkish delegation to attend the upcoming 5th Silk Road Forum, scheduled to take place in Tbilisi on October 22–23.
The meeting was attended by Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Finance Lasha Khutsishvili, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
