Discussions focused on trade and economic relations, with particular attention to agriculture and tourism

Georgian PM Irakli Kobakhidze met with Nokerguli Ataguliev to discuss relations between Georgia and Turkmenistan and prospects for future cooperation, the Georgian government administration reported.

The leaders reviewed various areas of bilateral cooperation, noting that relations between the two countries have reached a qualitatively new level, with high-level visits helping to strengthen ties further, the government press office said on Monday.

Discussions focused on trade and economic relations, with particular attention to agriculture and tourism.

The meeting also addressed regional developments, highlighting Turkmenistan’s efforts to promote peace and stability in Central Asia. Both sides stressed the importance of such policies for the region’s sustainable development.
