Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has departed for Turkmenistan to participate in an international forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, the Georgian government has announced.

The event is being held to mark the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. Kobakhidze is scheduled to address the plenary session titled Peace and Trust: A Common Vision for a Sustainable Future.

The Prime Minister will also hold a series of bilateral meetings during the visit.

Kobakhidze is accompanied by a government delegation that includes Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili and the head of the Government Administration, Levan Zhorzholiani.
