What Ukraine’s leadership was asking for is clear as day. We all remember how top Ukrainian officials openly demanded that Georgia open a second front. Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated that senior Ukrainian officials had directly called on Georgia to open a “second front” during the war. Remarks from a former Polish president further support this claim, he said.

What Ukraine’s leadership was asking for is clear as day. We all remember how top Ukrainian officials openly demanded that Georgia open a second front. These were high-ranking figures — the Secretary of the Security Council, the President’s chief adviser, members of parliament, and others. They were directly calling on Georgia to do this. When we refused, everyone remembers what followed,” Kobakhidze told reporters.

He added that Ukraine even recalled its ambassador from Tbilisi at the time, citing Georgia’s refusal to impose sanctions on Russia or send volunteer fighters to Ukraine.

“Everything is plain to see. Ukraine’s government made completely open statements demanding that Georgia open a second front. This is further confirmed by the former president of Poland. When it comes to Georgia, the facts are right there in the open,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
