Georgian PM, foreign office, extend condolences over deadly plane crash in US

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and the country’s foreign office on Thursday extended their “heartfelt” and “deepest” condolences over the tragic plane crash in Washington D.C. on Wednesday.

The incident involved an American Airlines passenger plane and a US Army Black Hawk helicopter colliding midair near Reagan National Airport.. Rescue and search efforts are ongoing, with at least 19 bodies recovered from the Potomac River.
