Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday said Studfest would be held annually and expanded in the coming years, as he attended the closing ceremony of Studfest 2026 alongside Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze and Education Minister Givi Mikanadze.
The Government Administration said Kobakhidze congratulated students on the successful completion of the festival and pledged continued state support for similar youth initiatives.
The Prime Minister noted that more than 20,000 students participated in this year's events, which included a broad range of cultural, educational and sporting activities. He highlighted the participation of more than 2,000 people in the festival's running event, saying the turnout reflected the motivation and enthusiasm of young people.
During the event, Education Minister Givi Mikanadze awarded winners of competitions held as part of the festival, while the Georgian Technical University received the Studfest 2026 winner's award.
