Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has taken part in the opening ceremony of the youth festival Studfest 2026, alongside Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, Minister of Education Givi Mikanadze and Rustavi Mayor Nino Latsabidze.

The Government Administration said Kobakhidze congratulated young participants on the launch of the festival and wished them success in the upcoming events.

He highlighted that it is encouraging that the initiative has been running since 2014 and continues to attract a growing number of young people each year.

The Prime Minister also expressed gratitude to the organisers — Tbilisi City Hall, Rustavi City Hall and the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth — for their work in delivering the festival.

Studfest 2026 will feature sporting tournaments as well as educational, cognitive and cultural activities held across Georgia.

More than 20,000 students are participating in this year’s edition of the festival.
