The Government of Georgia and UAE PropTech PRYPCO on Monday signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at introducing innovative technologies in the country’s real estate sector.
The document was signed by Georgian Justice Minister Paata Salia and PRYPCO CEO Amira Sajwani, the Government Administration said.
The project seeks to promote investment in the real estate sector and introduce a secure and transparent property tokenisation process in line with Georgian legislation, particularly concerning private property rights, the body added.
Under the memorandum, the parties will cooperate on legal and technological matters, explore opportunities for developing real estate tokenization in Georgia, and assess its compatibility with public service systems.
The memorandum followed a meeting earlier in the day between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Sajwani to discuss investment opportunities and technological innovation in Georgia’s real estate sector.
The Administration said the meeting focused on Georgia’s “favourable” investment climate, recent economic growth trends, tourism potential, and Government efforts to introduce innovative technologies across various sectors. Sajwani highlighted Georgia’s business-friendly environment and expressed readiness to further deepen cooperation, the body added.
