The Varketili office of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) was vandalized, according to party member Irakli Nadiradze. He reported that windows were shattered, and bottles filled with paint were thrown into the office.

Nadiradze stated that the incident likely occurred early in the morning, adding the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party and its founder and honorary chair, Bidzina Ivanishvili are to be blamed.

“It’s clear how frightened Georgian Dream and Bidzina Ivanishvili are. This morning, we found our Varketili office vandalized. Windows were smashed, and bottles filled with paint were thrown inside. The office was in this state when we arrived in the morning, with shattered glass everywhere,” he said.

Nadiradze emphasized that such acts of violence, threats, and vandalism will not deter their efforts.

“These disgraceful acts only give us more motivation to decisively remove these traitors and Russian sympathizers from power,” he added.
