Irakli Pavlenishvili, Deputy Secretary General of the United National Movement, on Friday said the newly formed opposition alliance would mobilize public protests and amplify international scrutiny on the Georgian government.

“The unification of political parties responds directly to the demands of the protest electorate. I am confident that the protest wave will grow, momentum will rise, and international pressure will increase. These combined efforts will help secure free elections and the release of all political prisoners,” Pavlenishvili claimed, noting widespread public support during a gathering on Rustaveli Avenue.
