More than 100 Palestinians have been killed across the Gaza Strip since dawn today as Israel launched a new wave of airstrikes, with dozens still missing beneath the rubble of destroyed residential buildings. The attacks mark one of the deadliest days in recent weeks, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated his pledge to intensify the military campaign until Hamas is destroyed.

In response, Hamas condemned the strikes as a “barbaric escalation” and called on the international community to hold Israel accountable for what it described as war crimes.

According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, at least 53,119 Palestinians have been killed and over 119,900 wounded since the war began. However, the Government Media Office puts the death toll at more than 61,700, citing thousands of people believed to be buried under the debris and presumed dead.

Meanwhile, Houthi-affiliated media reported another Israeli airstrike on Yemen’s port of Hodeidah. Israel and Yemen’s Houthi forces have been exchanging fire for months, despite a recent ceasefire deal brokered between the Houthis and the US The Houthis have vowed to continue targeting Israel as part of what they call a pressure campaign to end the war in Gaza.

Just yesterday, the Houthis claimed to have launched a ballistic missile at Israel, setting off air raid sirens in Tel Aviv and surrounding areas. The Israeli military said the missile was intercepted before causing damage.

In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces continue large-scale military operations. According to the Wafa news agency, troops demolished at least 20 buildings in the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps over the past week. The raids, accompanied by mass displacements and movement restrictions, are part of a broader military offensive launched in late February focusing on Jenin, Tulkarem, and Nur Shams.

The United Nations reports that approximately 40,000 Palestinians have been displaced in the northern West Bank since the offensive began.
