The Italian Antimonopoly Committee fined the social network Facebook 7 million euros for failing to comply with an order to stop using user data. This order was issued back in November 2018.

Reported by ANSA.

The Committee reportedly ordered the social network a few years ago to publish a revised statement regarding the end of the misuse of user's data on the home page of the website of the social network in Italy, as well as in the application and on the personal page of each user in Italy. However, Facebook ignored this decision of the regulator.
