Joint training of Georgian and Romanian special operations forces was held

In the Black Sea, Georgian and Romanian Special Operations Naval Special Forces conducted a combined naval exercise in the Black Sea for the first time. 

 

The boarding team of the Coast Guard Department of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was also involved in the training. According to the simulated scenario, a foreign ship on which an illegal armed group was allegedly stationed violated Georgian territorial waters. 

 

Georgian and Romanian special operations forces carried out a joint boarding operation with the Coast Guard board. The purpose of the joint exercise was to strengthen the interoperability between the Georgian and Romanian special operations forces, to strengthen partnerships and friendships.
