Kaladze described the vote as “a decisive day for the country and the capital”

Kakha Kaladze, the ruling Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia party’s candidate for Tbilisi mayor, addressed residents of the capital from the newly renovated Vere Park in central Tbilisi, urging their support ahead of the 4 October local elections.

Kaladze described the vote as “a decisive day for the country and the capital” and said his team’s work over the past eight years had already left a “clear mark” on the city.

“Love for this city is not only about words and stories - it is daily effort, tireless work and care. It means renewed streets and avenues, revitalised historic districts, new parks, modern kindergartens, improved public transport, and solutions to long-standing problems,” Kaladze said.

He stressed that Tbilisi’s development “must continue” and argued that only the Georgian Dream was capable of delivering results.

“As mayor, I am proud of the path we have taken. As a candidate, I can speak not of vague promises but of concrete plans we will carry out together. On 4 October we will once again celebrate victory and build a better future for our capital,” Kaladze said, ending his speech with the message “peace to Georgia, more kindness to Tbilisi.”
