Kakha Kaladze, Tbilisi Mayor and mayoral candidate from the ruling party Georgian Dream, on Sunday visited the Vazisubani district of the capital city as part of his election campaign, where he met with local residents to discuss future projects and ongoing challenges in the city.

Kaladze emphasised that, alongside major infrastructure works, expanding the co-financing program for residential communities remained a priority. He noted this initiative, which was one of his campaign promises in previous elections and had been successfully implemented for years, would receive ₾250 million ($92.60mln) in funding over the next four years.

“We all know how much has already been done not only in Isani [district] but across Tbilisi to improve living conditions and make the city more comfortable, providing more services to our residents. I promise you that the development of our beautiful city will continue, and care for every single Tbilisi resident will remain a priority. We are ready to serve you 24 hours a day,” Kaladze said.

The meeting was also attended by Georgian Dream’s majoritarian candidates for Isani district.
