Mayoral candidate Kaladze: Georgian Dream only force able to ensure peace, development of Tbilisi

Tbilisi Mayor and mayoral candidate for the ruling Georgian Dream party, Kakha Kaladze, cast his vote on Saturday in local government elections, emphasising that the only political force capable of maintaining peace in the country and continuing the development of the capital was the ruling team.

“I have made my choice. First and foremost, peace for Georgia and greater prosperity for Tbilisi. The only force today that can realistically maintain peace in the country is Georgian Dream and the only force that can continue the city’s development is also Georgian Dream. Over the past years, we have implemented many positive and significant projects for the capital across all areas, but challenges and problems remain.

During the election campaign, we presented the public with concrete plans for projects in infrastructure and ecological development; healthcare and social programmes will continue; new projects, including tram and metro expansions, will be implemented; and an amusement park will be built. We have shared information on many projects with the public. The next four years will be interesting and significant for our capital,” Kaladze said.
