Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze emphasized the Georgian government’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the country’s stability and its citizens’ welfare amidst ongoing political tensions.

In a video message shared on Facebook, Kaladze highlighted the government’s preparedness to counter attempts by the radical opposition to disrupt the nation’s order.

“The goals and intentions of the radical opposition and their foreign backers are clear: to incite chaos and destabilize the country.

Throughout the pre-election period, the opposition was not preparing for the elections but for post-election unrest. These actions were supported by foreign funding and organized training sessions. The Georgian government anticipated this scenario and is fully prepared to address it. We are committed to the country’s and the population’s best interests and will not allow disorder to take root in Georgia,” Kaladze declared.

The mayor reassured the public that the government remains steadfast in its efforts to ensure peace and stability, countering any efforts aimed at undermining the nation’s progress.
