Kakha Kaladze, Secretary General of the ruling Georgian Dream party and Tbilisi Mayor, announced that Georgian Dream has already secured a solid majority in parliament, emphasizing the importance of today’s elections in shaping the country’s future.

“Today is a decisive day for Georgia’s future. This election determines whether we preserve peace and dignity or revert to a darker past. With unprecedented voter turnout by 3 PM, the radical opposition stands no chance of success,” Kaladze stated.

He emphasized that preliminary data from local campaign offices suggest a strong majority for Georgian Dream. However, Kaladze urged all eligible voters to cast their ballots to ensure a constitutional majority. He emphasized that each vote is critical in achieving this goal, stressing the importance of a constitutional majority for the party’s agenda.

Kaladze also addressed reports of disruptions, attributing them to “radical opposition groups,” claiming they create a false perception of disorder. He assured that any legal infractions would be met with full legal action.

The Mayor urged citizens to support the country’s stability and progress: “Today, you have a unique opportunity to contribute directly to Georgia’s advancement. I am confident that the majority of our citizens will seize this opportunity.”
