The Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia party has presented its election music video for Tbilisi, created by musician Zaza Nozadze. The video was unveiled by the party’s Tbilisi mayoral candidate, incumbent Mayor Kakha Kaladze, alongside Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili.
Speaking at the presentation on Friday, Kaladze thanked the Prime Minister and the Speaker for their support, as well as the citizens of Tbilisi.
“We want to present the public with this music video as a tribute to our country and our beautiful capital. Tbilisi is a city that has always inspired songs and admiration, and I am confident it will continue to do so. It is a city we all hold dear, with its rich cultural heritage, diverse religions, and vibrant diversity. All of this requires care, appreciation, and preservation. I am proud to serve this city and its residents. The video we are presenting celebrates the uniqueness and the love for Tbilisi,” Kaladze said.
He emphasized confidence in victory in the upcoming local self-government elections on 4 October.
“We continue our campaign with daily meetings with residents. I am grateful for the support and solidarity we encounter at every step. It motivates me greatly to meet citizens in the streets who express their appreciation and backing. I am confident that on 4 October we will win - our capital and our country will triumph. Peace to Georgia and more prosperity to Tbilisi!” Kaladze added.
The video’s creator, Nozadze, said it was a great honor for him, as a Tbilisi resident and native of the city, to work on a masterpiece by Gogi Tsabadze. He thanked the ruling team for the opportunity and wished success to the mayoral candidate.
The event was attended by members of the Cabinet, parliamentarians, and representatives from the arts, culture, and sports sectors.
