Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze expressed confidence that newly elected President Mikheil Kavelashvili will serve Georgia with loyalty, patriotism, and a commitment to protecting the nation’s interests.

“First of all, I congratulate Georgia on its new president—a leader who will serve our country with dedication, love, patriotism, and loyalty. I also congratulate Mikheil Kavelashvili on assuming this very important position,” Kaladze stated.

The Mayor acknowledged the damaged reputation of the presidential institution in recent years, attributing it to the actions of former presidents. “For years, the reputation of the presidency has been tarnished by the actions of previous presidents, who, in many cases, served external forces. I wish our new president success in restoring this institution’s integrity.”

Kaladze expressed his belief that Kavelashvili will work tirelessly to serve Georgia with honor. “I am confident that Mikheil Kavelashvili will do everything necessary to serve our country with dignity and, most importantly, to safeguard our national interests,” he concluded.
