Kakha Kemoklidze heads the Georgian government administration

Kakha Kemoklidze became the new head of the Georgian government administration. This was announced by Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia.
Kemoklidze is a former employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. Since 2018, he has headed the department's information and analytical department. In July 2019, he was appointed Chief of Staff of the National Security Council. For many years Kemoklidze represented Georgia at the Geneva Security Discussions.
Former head of the Georgian government administration, Natia Mezvrishvili, left office in November last year. She noted that she is leaving the civil service after 13 years of "extremely interesting and challenging activity."
