Varlam Liparteliani elected Chairman of Georgian Dream youth organization

During the congress, delegates unanimously voted to appoint Liparteliani as chairman of the youth organization

Varlam Liparteliani has been elected Chairman of the Youth Organization of Georgia’s ruling party, Georgian Dream.
The congress of the party’s youth wing was held at the Paragraph Hotel and was attended by senior party officials, including Georgian Dream Chairman Irakli Kobakhidze, Secretary General and Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, Political Secretary Shalva Papuashvili, Regional Secretary Dimitri Samkharadze, and members of the party’s Political Council. Tsotne Ivanishvili attended the event as an honorary guest.
During the congress, delegates unanimously voted to appoint Liparteliani as chairman of the youth organization.
The delegates also approved five members of the organization’s governing board: Mariam Grigolishvili, Nugzar Shoshiashvili, Davit Bodaveli, Tekla Tikanashvili, and Anri Metreveli.
Liparteliani replaces Giorgi Chakvetadze, who had led the Georgian Dream Youth Organization since 2016.
