Hungarian lawmaker Katalin Csöbör, who arrived in Georgia as an international observer, on Saturday said she attended the opening of a polling station and found everything in order.

“I came to Georgia for observation purposes. We attended the opening of a polling station and everything was fine. Georgia has a very good and interesting electoral system. I hope everything will go well today,” Csöbör noted.

Local government elections are being held in Georgia today. The Central Election Commission said the electoral process is being monitored by 27 local and 28 international observer organisations, including delegations from Bulgaria, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Slovakia, Montenegro, Turkey, and Moldova.
