Opposition leader Dekanoidze calls for coordinated opposition to strengthen Georgian democracy

One of the leaders of the United National Movement, Khatia Dekanoidze, on Friday stressed the importance of a unified and coordinated opposition to safeguard democracy in Georgia.

“Georgian opposition, which has brought democracy to this point, must be coordinated and united. All major decisions in the pro-Western opposition, whether sitting for debates or engaging with international partners, should be made by majority consensus. Work in this direction is ongoing without pause, involving both political parties and civil society organizations,” Dekanoidze said.
