A Russian overnight attack on Kyiv has killed at least 28 people, including three children, Ukrainian authorities have confirmed.
The Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal Affairs said the children killed were boys aged 2, 6, and 17. A further 159 people were reported injured, including 16 children.
Rescue operations are ongoing in the capital as emergency crews continue to search through the rubble.
