President of South Korea Lee Jae-myung has congratulated Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili and the Georgian people on the occasion of Georgia’s Independence Day.

Lee highlighted the importance of continued cooperation between South Korea and Georgia, describing bilateral relations as being based on strong friendship and sincere trust.

The South Korean president said he looked forward to strengthening ties and expanding cooperation between the two countries through closer communication across various sectors.

Lee also extended his wishes for Georgia’s continued progress and prosperity, as well as good health for Kavelashvili and happiness for the Georgian people.
