European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, has expressed deep concern over the findings of the OSCE/ODIHR’s final report on Georgia’s recent parliamentary elections.

In a statement shared on social media, Kos emphasized:
“The final OSCE/ODIHR’s report confirms serious flaws in Georgia’s recent parliamentary elections. Authorities must urgently address the priority recommendations to regain trust, recognition, and ensure a European future – one that has been driving hundreds of thousands of Georgians to the streets.”

The report highlighted significant issues, including voter intimidation, lack of electoral transparency, and misuse of administrative resources, sparking continued protests across Georgia.

Kos underscored the importance of electoral reform and compliance with European standards to secure Georgia’s integration into the European Union, a goal fervently supported by the Georgian people.
