Clinics fined during the Covid-19 pandemic will be exempt from paying the full penalty if they pay 20% of the fine, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced on Thursday.

He claimed the move was aimed at offering financial relief to clinics penalized during inspections conducted at the height of the pandemic.

“Clinics will be exempted from paying the fine in full upon making a 20% payment. Relevant normative documents will be introduced shortly”, he said.
