Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, who is now in Brussels, has once again called on NATO allies to provide his country with weapons to fight with Russia, claiming that if the alliance does so, the  war would not go beyond the borders of Ukraine.

“I think the deal that Ukraine is offering is fair: You give us weapons, we sacrifice our lives, and the war is contained in Ukraine,” Kuleba said.

He made the statement in Brussels today, alongside NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg ahead of a meeting with NATO foreign ministers where Stoltenberg stated that allies would address Ukraine’s need for air defense systems, anti-tank weapons and other support.

“The more weapons we get, and the sooner they arrive in Ukraine, the more human lives will be saved, the more cities and villages will not be destroyed, and there will be no more Buchas,” Kuleba said.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24.

Hostilities have been in progress since then.
