The Ukrainian authorities said they destroyed 15 of 20 Russian kamikaze drones after a large-scale attack on Kyiv’s critical infrastructure on Sunday.

“Unfortunately, there is an attack on a critical infrastructure. The Emergency Situations Service is working to eliminate the consequences. The information about the victims and destruction is being clarified”, – said the head of the military administration of the city, Sergey Popko.

Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said “noone has been killed or injured”.

However, the city’s police official said two had been killed during the attack.

Russia invaded Ukraine in late February, with hostilities still in progress.
