The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said Wednesday that the ongoing war with Russia has left more than 3,5 million Ukrainians homeless.

The Ministry stated at least 140,000 residential buildings have been destroyed or damaged after the beginning of the Russian invasion of the country back in February of this year.

The Ukrainian authorities have called on the West to ensure the provision of weapons to resist Russian aggression.
